If Romeo had written this type of letter to Juliet am sure the words from it would have resurrected them back to life but this letter is not from Romeo to Juliet, this is from a man who is deeply in love with the girl of his dream who he married her a year ago.
Mohammed Abdularaham, a young lecturer in the Department of Urban And Regional Planning faculty of Environmental Science, University of Lagos, Lagos, took to his Facebook timeline to share with the world the burning flame of love he has for his beautiful wife in a heartfelt emotional letter to mark their one year of matrimonial bliss. To say true love doesn’t exist in this today’s world of superficialness is to have a rethink and look around again cause it does exist. Young lovers are beautiful to watch and emulate and this is what Mr and Mrs Mohammed Abdulraham symbolizes.
Read the letter below:
“My Dear Queen,
I write this open letter full of gratitude to God, and loaded with love and admiration for the super wife you have become!
I knew you for more than a decade before marriage but I didn’t know you had so many flavours of sweetness kept for that special man, thank God I won that lottery ticket! Everyday of the last 365 days with you has been strawberry yesterday, vanilla today and chocolate coated with caramel tomorrow and the other days, other combinations with nuts and fruits…..
Waking up beside you for the last 365 days has been a blessing to me, and I have asked God to let me have that one blessing even after eternity!
We are not perfect as humans but you make living with you so easy and sweet – the fights end in kisses, the mood swings end in laughters, the hard times end in smiles and of course the stressful days end up in cuddles and therapeutic romance at nights!
My beautiful angel, this anniversary remind us of the mistakes we made in the past, brings us the moments that we are making together in the present and the happiness that we plan to share in the future.
I pray God continues to build our home with bricks of joy, happiness, wealth, great health, prosperity and children that He (God) and we, will be proud of. May He continue to strengthen our bond and friendship, and continue to preserve your beauty, body and spirit to rule over your kingdom as my Queen!
Many people give their wives gifts on this beautiful day. But i have kept it really simple and given my whole life to you my dear. Best wishes and happy anniversary to the reason of my success, the reason of my happiness and all the smiles and after God, the reason our marriage will last many a mile.
Happy 1st wedding anniversary to you my bestfriend, sister, mother and wife!
I LOVE YOU MRS. MARYAM OMOWUNMI ABDUL-RAHMAN.
Yours sincerely,
Your loving husband.
Mohammed Abdul-Rahman.”
