Late Mr. Mohammed Anyakwoo, an Alago indigene from Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa state was in his early thirties before his untimely death
This is another classical example of Maryam Sanda’s case who stabbed her husband to death some years ago in what was reported as domestic violence brawl.
The incident, which occurred on the 28th April Night at about 7:30p.m. was reported as a domestic-violence where the woman in the fit of rage stabbed her lover to death because of jealousy.
Eye-witnesses reported that the late Anyakwo just got back from the local market where he had gone to buy condiments to break his Ramadan fast was approached by his mistress, Miss Boniface who requested his mobile phone.
When late Anyakwo handed the mobile phone to her, unknown to him, she planned to verify a phone number she suspected to be of another woman. She dialed the number on the phone and when the phone rang, Anyakwo requested his phone back and was refused. It was in the midst of trying to get his phone back that miss Boniface reached for a knife and stabbed him to the chest.
He was quickly rushed to the local hospital but was pronounced dead instantly. Miss Boniface is still in the custody of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
