Today is the general election in Nigeria and Nigerians have all trooped out to fulfill their civic duty of voting for their preferred candidate but the video making rounds in the online media is that of president Muhammadu Buhari peeping on his wife, Aishat Buhari to see her ballot paper if she voted him or not.
SaharaReporters posted this video a few minutes ago on their Twitter timeline of the Nigerian president double checking his wife’s ballot paper at Daura where they both went out this morning to cast their vote. Watch the video below:

Whether this was the president’s intention or not no one can categorically say but the video is suggesting that it is and this has quickly gone viral online. The president and his wife were later surrounded by newsmen in Daura where different questions were posted to Buhari about the election so far.
The president was questioned in this video in the Hausa language that if he didn’t win this election, will he peacefully accept defeat and congratulate the winner? The president’s reply was swift and full of assurance, he said: “Don’t worry I will win this election and I will congratulate myself.”
His words or actions can say that he is keeping a positive mindset but many Nigerians believe Aishat Buhari is not a popular fan of her husband’s administration. One of those many Nigerians who believes this is none other than Reno Omokri and his Twitter post today on his timeline reflected so.
